Sleigh Bells - Reign Of Terror (2012) / Rating: 3/5
I wasn’t much of a Sleigh Bells fan when their debut album was released two years ago, but I thought I’d give their new record a chance. For the most part it’s pretty much what I expected. There are a few songs with decent hooks, such as “End Of The Line”. However, a lot of what I heard was borderline cringe worthy due to Sleigh Bells incessant need to be over the top and almost cheesy. Placing guitar metal solos over drum machines just doesn’t appeal to me I guess.
