Chairlift - Something (2012) / Rating: 3/5
This is my first time listening to a Chairlift album from start to finish, and while I mostly enjoyed it, it never really grabbed a hold me. There are definitely a few good tracks here (particularly “Amanaemonesia”), but overall it’s repetitive and the “80s pop” sound began to wear on me after awhile. If you liked Chairlift before, “Something” shouldn’t disappoint.
